Business East Sussex Growth Hub

The Business East Sussex Growth Hub is a free, independent, publicly-funded support service for businesses across East Sussex.

It is the first step for any business seeking support, and can help you find the support and solutions your organisation needs to thrive.

Whether you are starting up, looking to grow, or are seeking to overcome challenges, they can help. Their team of experts is dedicated to enabling you find the right support, helping your business grow and helping to make East Sussex a great place to run a business.

Locate East Sussex

Locate East Sussex is the official inward investment agency for East Sussex. Their experienced and dedicated team supports any sized business already based in East Sussex and companies moving into the county to access funding to help grow our economy and create jobs in local communities.

The Business & IP Centre (BIPC) Sussex

The Business & IP Centre (BIPC) Sussex supports entrepreneurs, inventors and small businesses across Sussex, from that first spark of inspiration to successfully launching and developing a business. The BIPC Regional is in Brighton & Hove at Jubilee Library, and its BIPC Locals are at Crawley Library, Eastbourne Library and Hastings Library.

As well as being a hub for entrepreneurs to network and attend events, it provides 1-2-1 expert advice and access to a wealth of free information. This includes business databases, market research reports, company data and information on intellectual property. Whether you are just starting out or are ready to take the next step in your journey, BIPC Sussex is there for you.

Skills for Care

Skills for Care is the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care in England. They work with employers, Government and partners to ensure social care has the right people, skills and support required to deliver the highest quality care and support now and in the future. More information can be found here. Skills for Care also distributes the Workforce Development Fund on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care. It is available to support the continuing professional development of staff across the adult social care sector by providing a contribution towards the costs of vocational learning. Construction Industry Training Board

CITB is the industry training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland and Wales. Its job is to help the construction industry attract talent and to support skills development, to build a better Britain. It offers grants for apprenticeships for its members and has a team that can support you to apply for your grant, and give you advice and more general support on apprenticeships. It can also help you set up your apprenticeship service account.  More information is available here.
