Virtual Office and Marketing Coordinator

Home-based | Sussex | 24 hours per week | £15 p/h or pro rata £18,720
The Sussex Council of Training Providers (SCTP) is looking for a Virtual Office & Marketing Coordinator to help SCTP provide excellent administrative and marketing services for our organisation. This is a freelance role, based remotely for 26 hours/week.
The successful person will be comfortable with remote working and able to support us with admin, social media, database development, project management and administration, events’ organisation, and can take the initiative to suggest improvements. The role should also appeal to someone keen to work for a dynamic organisation, and who shares our passion for ‘making Sussex a brilliant place for learning’.
The main responsibilities of the role will include coordinating membership communication using email, social media, mailshots, website, and phone; managing membership administration using a database and MS Office software; organising and supporting face to face and online events and webinars; assisting with SCTP newsletter production; managing SCTP’s websites and social media channels on LinkedIn and Twitter; supporting the administration of SCTP projects, and assisting with financial administration as required, including the use of a cloud-based accounting system.

Freelance Apprenticeship Advisers for the Apprenticeship, Support and Knowledge (ASK) programme in Sussex.

SCTP is delivering the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools (ASK) programme across Sussex, and is looking to recruit freelance delivery facilitators to work on the programme. The role will include the facilitation of a variety of apprenticeship workshops and presentations to groups of pupils in years 10 to 13 and to teachers and parents and offering one to one advice about apprenticeships to school senior leaders & careers leads. We are looking for people who live in the areas of Worthing and Crawley/Mid Sussex to deliver to local schools. The work will be term time only, with flexibility required in order to suit the availability of school staff and pupil timetables. Further information about ASK can be read on our ASK page. Transform Adviser (Employer Engagement and Apprenticeship Levy Transfer)

East Sussex | Freelance Contract | 8 hours per week | £8,500 per annum
The Sussex Council of Training Providers (SCTP) is looking for an experienced apprenticeships/employer engagement professional to help deliver our Transform programme in East Sussex. The programme, part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), and led by East Sussex County Council, aims to raise the profile of apprenticeships and skills training in East Sussex amongst SMEs, and will support SMEs to access government skills training  and incentives, and unspent Levy funds to pay for apprenticeship training.

The Transform (Employer Engagement and Apprenticeship Levy Transfer) Adviser’s main role is to promote the Transform Programme by engaging with employers, and employer networks, in order to generate project starts and bookings for the wider Transform skills support team. The role will involve triaging referrals, coordination of project SME support bookings, alongside coordination of levy transfer pledge applications and levy payer commitments.
