The second round of the Taking Teaching Further programme, which opened in December will close on 15 February. The programme is inviting bids from post 16 providers to attract industry professionals to teach in further education. The programme will provide financial support for up to 150 industry experts to become FE teachers, covering the course costs of teacher training as well as support and mentoring; and will also support up to 40 innovative projects that help develop local partnerships and collaborations.
