SCTP’s May Members’ Meeting was held at Clair Hall in Haywards Heath on Thursday with almost 50 members present. The meeting included new member intros from Maximus and APM and reminders about the two current CPD workshops available to book on Mental Health Wellbeing and Consultative Sales. Members heard presentations from Chris Jones of Ofsted about the lessons learned from the latest apprenticeship inspection outcomes and developments on the process of inspection. Tom Glover, from SRF Consultancy, highlighted some key issues for providers around ESFA apprenticeship funding rule compliance and preparation for audit. Members also had an ESFA update from Ian Paxton and Chris Shaw and were able to put their questions to them regarding issues of concern. The meeting was followed by a very informative session on the Apprenticeship Service from Alan Barker from the ESFA. Alan’s slides are available on the resources page also.
