This DfE research looks into the cost and income when providing levels 4 and 5 in further education. The research examined providers of further education that includes science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects at levels 4 and 5. The research looked at: the cost of providing level 4 and 5 technical education; division between different types of cost; the effects on the providers’ ability to offer this training profitably.
