Prime Minister Calls For Vocational/Academic Parity As Post-18 Review Launched

by | 0 comments

The Prime Minister has pledged to look at ways to ensure more people have a genuine choice of high quality technical and academic options. Theresa May has urged people to “throw away” the “outdated attitude” that university is the only desirable route for young people and that going into vocational training “is something for other people’s children”. The review will focus on four areas: choice, value for money, access and skills provision. More on the review is here with the full terms of reference here and the Prime Minister’s speech in full here. Responses from sector leaders are here.
