OECD Report on Jobs & Skills Impact of Automation

After gathering evidence from the UK and 31 OECD countries, a working paper titled ‘Automation, Skills Use & Training’ was produced looking at the jobs most at risk (service sector) from the use of robotics and those most resilient (those that require social and cognitive intelligence). The report’s authors add that “Adult learning is a crucial policy instrument for the re-training and up-skilling of workers whose jobs are being affected by technology”.
