The Government has published a sector deal with the Automotive Industry. This is the second Sector Deal to be published following on from the Life Sciences Sector Deal. Sector Deals were announced as part of the recent Industrial Strategy and are designed to create ‘partnerships between the government and industry on sector-specific issues to create significant opportunities to boost productivity, employment, innovation and skills’. A Construction Sector Deal is also expected soon.
