How Ofsted’s Proposed New Complains Process will Work

by | 0 comments

Ofsted is consulting on a new complaints procedure following ongoing criticism and its acceptance that the current system is “not working”. Senior leaders have been reviewing the process to make it more “human-like and less bureaucratic”. Now Ofsted has revealed its plans that would see it throw out its current system of internal reviews and allow leaders that aren’t happy with how their complaints are handled, to go straight to an external adjudicator. If approved, the changes will replace the current procedure that was put in place in 2020. Click here for FE Week commentary and here for a proposal of the changes.
