Education Secretary Hosts First Ever DfE Skills Summit

Today, Education Secretary, Justine Greening will host the Department for Education’s first ever Skills Summit which is designed to signal the start of a new partnership between Government and business that will spread opportunity to more communities. The text of her speech is here which also announced a full consultation on the detailed design and implementation of T Levels, published the full panel membership list for the first 6 T Level routes as well as  announcing the launch of the £170M Institutes of Technology prospectus. Ms Greening also asked employers to commit to working with government on reforming technical education and apprenticeships by signing a Skills Partner Statement of Action pledge.
