This is the title of a new report from the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee which has highlighted some of the current issues around STEM skills citing in particular patchy careers advice in schools, gender imbalances, a lack of clarity on the potential role of Institutes of Technology and calling on the government to identify what STEM skills will be needed in the future.
