Justine Greening has quit as Education Secretary and been replaced by East Hampshire MP, Damian Hinds. Greening is believed to have refused a move to Work & Pensions and has vowed to continue to work on the social mobility agenda from outside government. Mr Hinds is a former DWP minister and a former chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Social Mobility. The official press release is here. Maybe everything will be OK with Hinds-sight!
