AELP Defends Level 2 Apprenticeships in New Paper

The Government urgently needs to boost lower level skills training to be ready for Brexit, according to a new AELP policy paper. AELP wants ministers to use government spending and post-18 education reviews as an opportunity to “reverse the sharp fall in level two apprenticeships since May 2017”.

In the interest of balance we include this article celebrating the increase in take up of degree apprenticeships. Of course, both levels of apprenticeship are valid and we need both levels to be an important part of fair access to a ladder of opportunity.
