£90M Dormant Accounts Youth Fund: Next Steps

by | 0 comments

In January 2018, the government announced that £90 million from dormant bank and building society accounts will fund projects to support young people furthest from the labour market into employment. The programme will be designed jointly by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, the Department for Education, the Department for Work and Pensions and the Big Lottery Fund, with input from young people. They now want to find out what stakeholders currently working in this area and young people themselves think so that they can design a programme that builds on existing knowledge.

The first survey is for employers, charities and other organisations either directly delivering support to young people related to employment, or with wider expertise in this area. The second survey is for young people (aged 16-24yrs). Deadline is the 4th May.
