The Education Policy Institute and SCTP member, Pearson have published a report focusing on a number of significant reforms needed to ensure young people are equipped with the skills, competencies and support structures to cope with a challenging economic future. One of the recommendations from the report urges the government to rethink how it supports low-achieving, disengaged, and special needs students, as help from local authorities and the European Union continues to diminish as picked up in this FE Week article.
