The DfE has published their latest apprenticeships statistics covering apprenticeship starts, apprenticeship service registrations and commitments. It shows there have been 166,400 apprenticeship starts reported to date between August 2018 and November 2018 for the 2018/19 academic year. This compares to 147,200 reported in the equivalent period in 2017/18, 202,000 in 2016/17 and 194,600 in 2015/16
