Halfon’s Views on Skills, Social Justice, Standards and Support for the Teaching Profession

Robert Halfon MP has written an article claiming that skills, social justice, standards, and support for the profession should be the four interlocking foundations of the government’s education programme. His comments include developing the National Retraining Scheme to focus on training for low-skilled workers and reforming the apprenticeship levy to support more apprenticeships in SMEs and school leavers into areas of skills shortages.
