23 people gathered at Lewes Jobcentre on Wednesday for SCTP’s latest meeting of its Pre-employment Group. The meeting included updates from the Hastings Opportunity Area on the priorities areas which will be focussed on, Maximus UK on the Work & Health Programme, the Prison Service on the opening up of commissioning training in prisons across the region and updates from DWP and the Local Authorities. Members also had the opportunity to share and discuss issues that were currently impacting their organisations and their learners, including the continuing pressures on providers to support increasing numbers of learners presenting with Mental Health issues.
