The Careers & Enterprise Company has launched its latest fund, targeted at the 6 additional Opportunity Areas identified by Government as social mobility ‘cold spots’ – one of these areas is Hastings. The main aim of the Opportunity Areas Fund is to scale up many of the existing, effective careers and enterprise programmes and ensure that young people get multiple opportunities to learn from employers through the course of their education.
