The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has published the latest apprenticeship standards to have their funding bands reviewed. The latest reviews for engineering design and draughtsperson, financial services customer adviser, aviation operations manager and motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (light vehicle) can be seen here. Funding band increases will take effect immediately and funding band reductions will take effect on 5 August 2019 after a 3 month notification period. Further information on the funding bands for individual standards and when their funding bands will change can be found on the IfATE’s website. A further 20 funding band recommendations still have to be approved from the December 2018 round of reviews.
