A new £375 million package of support for innovative energy technologies that will power British homes and businesses for decades to come has been launched. This includes (on page 17) a statement on skills and jobs – ‘On jobs, our technological leadership is delivering high skilled, high wage British jobs. Our increased ambition means we expect the sector will grow to support around 90,000 jobs by 2030’.
