SCTP member, CXK is delivering the National Careers Service contract for IAG for adults in East Sussex and West Sussex. They can offer free impartial IAG and career management to your learners to support individuals to progress onto accredited learning courses, apprenticeships or employment. Eligible learners include: unemployed 18-24 year olds, lone parents with a child at home, adults with a disability (including mental health), adults with qualifications below level 2 or adults over the age of 50 at risk of redundancy. Advisors can offer group IAG/careers sessions or 1-2-1 support covering job profiles, skills health checks as well as workshops for CV writing, interview skills and effective job search techniques. Prior to any IAG group session, advisors will discuss the content that individual providers would like to be delivered, and tailor it to suit the needs of the group and organisation. In addition, CXK can also provide input into any job clubs/job searching sessions already delivered by SCTP members, to offer extra support towards positive progression.
