SCTP member, CXK is delivering the National Careers Service contract for IAG for adults in East Sussex. They are offering free impartial IAG and career management advice to SCTP members’ learners to support individuals to progress onto accredited learning courses. Eligible learners include: unemployed 18-24 year olds, lone parents with a child at home, adults with a disability (including mental health), adults with qualifications below level 2 or adults over the age of 50 at risk of redundancy. CXK are also able to offer group IAG sessions (tailored to suit the needs of the organisation) to introduce the National Careers Service, prior to the start of any accredited training provision or apprenticeship placement. Advisers can offer support with job profiles, skills health checks as well as workshops for CV writing, effective job search techniques including using social media effectively.
