The ESFA has published a funding claims and reconciliation update which highlights that it is government policy to recover debts, such as AEB under-delivery, as soon as possible after a contract reconciliation. They are therefore encouraging providers who are under delivering to reduce their AEB earlier rather than later in the year. More on this story is here.
