East Sussex County Council has published the latest 2018/19 data for young people participating in education, training or employment with training. Key headlines are:
- Duty to participate at academic age 16 for Dec18 was 95.7% and an improvement from Dec17 at 95%
- Duty to participate at academic age 17 for Dec18 was 87.8 %, down slightly from Dec17 at 88.3%
- 1.6% of our 16&17 year olds are recorded as Not Known, the same as Dec17 (with slight decrease for 16yr and increase for 17yrs)
