WorldSkills UK, in partnership with Coca-Cola European Partners, have launched the inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Heroes Awards 2019. These awards are to honour and celebrate individuals and organisations who are championing diversity and inclusion within their organisations and the technical education sector. They are open to all students, apprentices, employees and organisations within the technical education sector. The awards are an opportunity to recognise outstanding commitment to promoting and supporting diverse and inclusive practices and celebrate those making a real difference. All nominees will be invited to attend the Award Ceremony being held at WorldSkills UK LIVE, the UK’s largest annual apprenticeships, skills development and careers event, where the winners will be announced and presented with their award. Nomination deadline is Friday 4 October.
