The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to initiate market engagement and inform Potential Suppliers of the opportunity to express interest in the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF). The LSIF (which will replace the Strategic Development Fund) is part of a long-term change programme, concerned with investing in the new facilities, provision and teaching expertise needed to deliver the skills priorities set out in the Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs), which will be available in draft form from March and published in final form in June.
