The DfE has published its latest apprenticeships and traineeships statistics. The data includes apprenticeship service data as of June 2020, and apprenticeship starts to May 2020, with separate June 2020 starts covering the COVID-19 outbreak. This contains figures for the first 10 months of the 2019/20 academic year (August 2019 to May 2020). The decline in apprenticeship starts since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, is discussed here, with some sector comment and further analysis on the latest figures can be seen here.
