The Association of Colleges is managing a project called ‘The 5Rs – a revision year approach to GCSE Maths resits’, which aims to support students re-sitting their GCSEs to improve their attainment. The programme content is built on the 40 most common topics in GCSE exams and common exam pitfalls. They are seeking training providers to take part in the trial for the 2019/20 academic year. To be eligible providers need to have a minimum of 15 students aged 16-19 taking GCSE maths in the 2018/19 year and expect to have similar or more in the 2019/20 year. Also, the students need to be enrolled by September 2019 for the full academic year. Full information and how to become involved is available here.
