A report published by UNISON says that more than £200 million is unused by NHS trusts because of restrictions in the apprenticeship levy scheme. The report is concerned with the amount of funding being lost to the NHS who cannot use all their funds as they cannot afford to take on new apprentices. The full report can be read here.
