Following an investigation by FE Week, the UK Statistics Authority has looked at the DfE’s achievement rate data and said they are content with the publication of the data tables but have asked them to be more transparent around the reasons for incomplete individual learner records. FE Week reported to the UK Statistics Authority that the 2017/18 national achievement rate tables included more than 30 apprenticeship providers with data that the DfE said was unreliable.
