We are looking for tutors and curriculum leads for our latest funded opportunity Taking Teaching Further (TTF). TTF is a co-mentoring project pairing FE tutors and curriculum leads from colleges and training providers, with industry professionals from the construction, engineering and creative & digital sectors. TTF will explore how working closer together can shape curriculum in FE, develop participants or their practices and influence conversations and/or decision makers – particularly in relation to skills gaps.
Following training and support, each pairing will develop and design a short programme of activities to explore dual professionalism and how shared knowledge and experience can enrich FE teaching and impact on industry engagement. The programme is flexible in its approach from pairings and would ultimately like to see sustainable relationships created and an interest from industry into FE teaching.
Bursaries are available to providers (per mentor) to support with cover costs/expenses etc. and the required commitment (up to 42 hours) is spread over several months.
