Thank you to all our members who attended the latest SCTP members’ conference at Clair Hall on 23 January. Members heard presentations from conference sponsor Enrola about attracting talent to your apprenticeship programmes, Steve Walker from Ofqual about a regulated approach to External Quality Assurance and Dr Richard Beynon from Ofsted gave members an overview of the new Education Inspection Framework and some useful learning from inspections carried out so far under the new framework. Members also took part in a interesting interactive activity led by John Young on the theme of developing communication and confidence to support productivity.
Members had the chance to network and discuss issues around education solutions through technology, Ofsted inspections, non-levy contracting and the apprenticeship service and agility in communication & confidence in the workplace. Notes from the conference will be issued to members shortly, the presentations from the speakers will be available on the members resources page of the SCTP website shortly.
The next members’ conference will be held at Clair Hall on 19 March, 09:30 – 13:00.
