Thank you to all our members who attended the latest SCTP members’ conference at Crawley College on 21 November. Members heard presentations from Louise Aitken with the latest South East LEP update, James Maltby about using EdTech in the classroom. Richard Moore gave members a comprehensive overview of quality improvement processes and we also had an ESFA update from Ben Payne. Members were also given an overview of some of the opportunities available to them through the Education and Training Foundation.
Members had the chance to network and discuss issues around education technology, Ofsted inspections, apprenticeship funding and ESF/back to work challenges. Notes from the conference will be issued to members shortly, the presentations from the speakers will be available on the members resources page of the SCTP website.
The next members’ conference will be held at Clair Hall on 23 January, 10:00 – 13:00, preceded by the SCTP AGM, for full members, from 09:30 – 10:00.
