Members were updated on the current projects which SCTP is involved with including the latest news on the Apprenticeships in Sussex service and the work with the Sussex Local Authorities and an update on the Teach Too programme. Also introduced was a new consultancy offer available to SCTP members. Members also heard presentations from Claire Bridger and Lisa Goncalves from NCFE who gave an overview on the Functional Skills reform and the new qualifications which will be available from September 2019. David Russell from the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) updated the members on the work of the ETF and the outcomes of the SCTP research project conducted with SCTP members. Members had the chance to network and highlight key issues for SCTP to take forward in its lobbying and representation role. Minutes will be issued to members shortly, the presentations used at the meeting are on the members resources of the SCTP website.
