The Open University has published a new report ‘Access to Apprenticeships‘ . They are calling on the government to help businesses further attract and recruit more disabled apprentices. They found that two thirds of employers wanted to recruit individuals with disabilities, may wanted further assistance in doing so and there was a lack of understanding of the support available to assist in the recruitment of apprentices with declared disabilities.
