The Education Secretary, Damian Hinds, has unveiled new measures to support employers to offer T Level industry placements. The T Levels Industry placements policy update is new guidance published to support employers and providers to offer tailored placements that suit their workplace and the needs of young people. They have also updated their guidance on how long placements must last in their industry placements for T Levels guidance and their introduction of T Levels guidance. The T Level action plan has been updated to add a link to the new industry placements policy framework. Comment on the new measures can be read here.
The Department for Education has also published the Evaluation of T Level Industry Placement Pilot: route reports to provide insight into the specific experiences of delivering placements within relevant industries.
