A new survey completed by National Education Union members has highlighted the challenges facing schools in meeting the needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The majority of the respondents rated the current support by the Government for SEND pupils as poor or requirements improvement and believe that the next Government must provide more funding in order to improve the situation.
