At the recent SCTP members’ conference, there was a query about whether matrix accreditation is a compulsory requirement of the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (ROATP) registration. Specialist consultant Steve O’Hare has shared his view that matrix accreditation is not mentioned as a specific requirement in the latest ROATP guidance. Steve has advised however that there are periodic refreshes to the guidance which you need to ensure you are working to at the time of application.
