IFS Report Shows FE Spending Still Over 7% Down on 2010

In their 2019 annual report on education spending, the Institute for Fiscal Studies has revealed that despite the government’s recent allocation of an extra £300 million for FE for 2020–21, which will lead to a real-terms increase in spending per pupil of over 4% in 2020–21, this will still leave spending per student over 7% below its level in 2010–11 in colleges.
