The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) have confirmed that the current organisation which delivers the external quality assurance (EQA) for the 271 standards which they are the nominated EQA provider for, Open Awards, will continue to provide this service until the end of June 2019. At that time, when the results of the competitive tendering process are known, the new contract will start. More information can be read here.
