Secretary of State for Education, Gavin Williamson, has updated the House of Commons on education funding. He told MPs ‘We are allocating funding so that every school’s per-pupil-funding can rise at least in line with inflation and to accelerate gains for areas of the country which have been historically underfunded, with most areas seeing significant gains above inflation we’ll ensure that all schools are allocated their gains under a formula in full next year‘.
