Last March, over 800 people turned up to two Apprenticeship Roadshow events in East Sussex. Building on this successful engagement, SCTP is working in partnership with East Sussex County Council again to run two more Apprenticeship Roadshows in Eastbourne and Hastings in March 2019. The events will bring together employers, training providers, young people and their parents/carers, providing up to date information on traineeships and apprenticeships (from pre-employment to higher and degree apprenticeships). Similar to last year, the events will host a marketplace and panel discussions for employers and providers.
The first event will be during National Apprenticeship Week at Eastbourne Town Hall on 5 March 2019, 17:00 – 19:00. The second event is at Hastings Library on 13 March 2019, 17:00 – 19:00. Every year 11 student in the county will be invited by postcards mailed to their homes. We anticipate that once again they will be busy and buzzy events.
