During National Apprenticeship Week, the Education Secretary, Damian Hinds announced plans to create a leader board of top apprenticeship employers, which will be independently judged and published annually. This is expected to rate the top 100 large apprentice employers and the top 50 SMEs. He also announced a new quality kite mark for apprenticeships, developed in partnership with Investors in People, to highlight high-quality apprentice employers.
