Round three of the Taking Teaching Further initiative, which supports FE providers to recruit experienced industry professionals, opens next week. Funding is available to help FE providers to recruit and support up to three trainee teachers, with £18,200 available per recruit, covering the undertaking of a teaching qualification, intensive support for the new teacher, and the cost of the new teacher having a reduced workload until March 2021.
