The ESFA have published information for providers with regard to apprenticeship funding for EU citizens following the UK’s departure from the EU. They have stated that there will be no change to eligibility for apprenticeship funding in academic years 2019 to 2020 and 2020 to 2021 for citizens from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. They will need to ensure they have the right to live and work in the UK after 2020.
