A new survey conducted by the parenting website Mumsnet, on behalf of the Department for Education, has shown that many parents are unaware of the range of opportunities apprenticeships can offer. They spoke to 1068 parents of children aged 13-18 and found that whilst they weren’t dismissing them as an option, they weren’t confident about the range of opportunities on offer through apprenticeships.
