UNISON has published results from a skills survey it has undertaken of more than 38,000 public sector workers. It reveals that a third of respondents believe they are likely to lose their jobs in the next few years due to technological innovation or government cuts. It also shows that 81% are keen to learn skills and that one in ten feel additional training has protected them from the threat of redundancy.
