Keith Smith, Director of Apprenticeships at the ESFA has been speaking about the move to all providers on RoATP engaging with small employers on the digital apprenticeship system from January. He spoke about restricting the number of starts funded through the online system as the system is tested. He clarified that during this transition phase, providers with a non-levy contract can continue to train on their contract, but will also be able to engage new opportunities from the online service.
