National Retraining Scheme Continues Rollout

by | 0 comments

The national retraining scheme is the government’s new programme to prepare adults for future changes to the economy. It will support employed adults over age 24 who do not have a qualification at degree level and are paid below a certain wage threshold. One of the first projects launched has been the Get Help to Retrain digital service. This has been trialled in Liverpool, the North East and West Midlands and is now being rolled out to Leeds, Cambridge and Peterborough and the South West LEP area. This part of the scheme will be available to people and businesses across England in 2020. Some comment on this project is available here.
